The UEW is a space where Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) practitioners meet and interact with a diverse and international community with representatives from national and local government, academia, private sector, international donors and organizations, Non- Government Organizations (NGOs) and Community Based Organizations (CBOs) , and local and regional MERL professionals.
Learning
The UEW program brings together expert evaluators from national and regional professional associations, the Young and Emerging Evaluators (YEEs), research and academia, funders and implementing partners, and policy makers to present and exchange ideas, solutions, tools, and experiences in the field of evidence for program improvement and investments in the region.
Collaboration
The UEW aims to encourage collaborations and partnerships in the MERL sector and develop a pool of local MERL talent as the key local partners for evaluations in development.
